ABOUT BLUE KEY CREATIVE

The vision of great potential of websites was seen by Blue Key Creative Managing Member Kevin Flint in 1995. In the mid-nineties, websites were new, not everyone had a computer, and even fewer had the internet. But the young aspiring website creator wanted to learn how to tap the soon to be flourishing market. So, he did. First, he found how to gather a website's source code. He went to the library at his college and printed off the source code from knoxnews.com, the local newspaper in Knoxville, Tennessee. The then computer science major studied the HTML code and figured out how to turn the codes into a working website. Throw in a couple books and a couple months, and the first websites were launched.

He created a couple personal sites, more like what would be known as a blog these days, and hosted them on the free geocities servers. Although a computer science major at the time, his real passion was the music business and he began promoting concerts under the name Kevin Flint Productions. Once the internet boom of the late 90's hit, he was renting server space, had a few domain names registered, and his concerts were drastically aided by the internet presence...which few events had at the time.

He also had an image branding package with flyers, posters, brochures, rack cards, table tents, and billboards that matched the website. With a unique creative design marketing campaign, it was not only easier to get sponsors for concerts and festivals, but he was able to gain website clients who liked the work. Everything was designed under the name of the concert production company.

After a few years (and increased sales), a server was leased and the domain name KFPdesigns.com was registered as a temporary company name. A couple years later, an LLC was formed as KFPdesigns.com, llc.

In 2009, KFPdesigns was awarded its first ever visitor's guide. A 16-page piece was produced for Cocke County, Tennessee, one of five counties the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is located in. The design can be found on the department of tourism's website at www.cockecounty.com.

In 2011, the name Blue Key Creative was chosen as the new official name of the company. An aggressive marketing campaign is coming in 2012 to brand the new name.

Blue Key Creative takes pride in keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and software. Except for one PC for quality control, the company uses Mac computers by Apple with Abobe CS4 software. The company has always been debt free.
